High Waisted Shorts Haul + HELP ME OUT (Kawaii Leader Contest)!

$

Hello my cuties! First of all, thank you all so much for helping my blog reach over 700 followers on GFC! It means a lot to me to see that people still care to follow me on here despite my spontaneous hiatuses I tend to have with it. I hope you all are enjoying your hot ass summer. I'm really waiting for July and August to get here so the bigger events arrive! I'll be sure to blog more about those when they do. Check out the new high waisted shorts I bought over the last week when I was with my friend Tima and Kevin!

The pair you see me wearing in the pic above are the ones I got for cheap at L'Patricia! I usually never shop there for anything but I had a feeling they would have some high waisted shorts for cheaper than other places and lo and behold there were piles of these babies all over their denim section! I was in heaven! Most were lower than $30 too!

This pair was only $25~
Kevin's favorite ♥
The back pockets have big holes in them so they certainly aren't appealing to me for practicality but the amount of frayed fabric on the edges of these made me drool. The following pair I bought from them were even cheaper at $17!
Not as much frayed fabric as I would like but look at the pockets sticking out! I wish they were a different design (like an animal print or something) but these will be great for 4th of July I suppose. At least these have functioning back pockets so I can't complain too much.

These last ones I got when me and Tima were hanging out all day together. I only bought one because many of their "smalls" weren't true to size and cost about $40! That's kind of insane to me but not entirely surprising seeing how trendy they are. Still though, I can totally DIY these if I wasn't such a lazy bum.

These are probably the first statement pair of shorts I have ever owned! All my other ones I used to wear look so basic in comparison. This bright orange color with the dark denim dye peaking in it's crevices makes it look unique. At L'Patricia, they didn't have any pair that looked like these so I am glad these were the only ones that ended up fitting me at Love Culture instead of the others I tried on.

Tima had better luck though with how well they fit her which brings me to how heavily I lack in the booty department. My ass is so nonexistent. I feel like it's gotten flatter in recent months somehow so I just need to start doing work outs for my bum muscles before the next time I head to the lake or swimming pools. Anyone know of some workout routines I can try? There's squatting, lunging but what else is effective? Should I do a before and after pic? lol jkjk...or hmmm. I saw a girl do it on Tumblr and it looked pretty damn amazing after just 3 weeks! I will for my own personal records.

I somehow never mentioned the other plushies I bought back in March from Anime Matsuri! Isn't that sad? I love these plushies so much too and was reminded of them when I made my last post from A-KON. These cuties are part of my plushie fam for a few months now and have been just lovely to cuddle with!
Currently the softest plushie I have! And it's huge!
So freaking cute! I want nearly every Sanrio character in plushie form but I'm trying not to make this turn into a silly addiction. My bed does look like it belongs to a 6 year old now though but oh well. My bed, my rules!

TIME TO GET DOWN TO BUSINESS!

I spammed literally all my other social media platforms except this one so it's only fair, right?

If you have not heard, Kawaii International started a contest where a lucky winner will be deemed as the new Kawaii Leader! I honestly hope the best person wins more than anything else but if you guys think I should be recognized as such, please take less than 5 seconds to click the "VOTE" button in the upper left corner of my photo! I do return favors such as these for those who say they voted for me in future reference.

So far it seems the amazing Pastelbat is winning significantly to where I would now need a miracle to match up with her numbers so it isn't that heavy of an importance to me at this point in the game but it was still nice to give it a try. (Still vote though if you can, ty!) I am really thankful for everyone sharing these links on their social media though and am acknowledging just how many each of you are so kind to me when these contests come up! Thank you so much! I may not do another one of these for a while because they take so much energy and time away from you only to still fall far from winning. I will go to Japan someday, but it might just not be my time right now and that's okay.
On that note, here's a funny video I made about some people abusing Photoshop to a Dakota Rose level. Tell me what you think of it and have a great weekend!

Hachiko's cuteness!

Hey everyone! Hachi got groomed a while back and I could not resist to be that pet parent who takes loads of photos of their furry kid looking their best at home hehe! Is it just me, or do you guys who have fluffy dog breeds hate to take them somewhere like a dog park where they might get dirty after they get groomed? I still walk him and everything but I never trust him going to dog parks because for some reason other doggies, INCLUDING small ones, like to tackle him a lot and he's such a slow little booger when he runs so it just continues to happen over and over again.

Haha well anyway I wanted to do a video of him this day which you can watch in the header above (if it has changed the click here). Check out these adorable photos of him!
"What's up with the camera mum?"
"Uh oh, why are you starring at me like that?"
"OH! YOU HAVE TREATS, THAT'S WHY!"

"Can I have just one bite? I will be a ballerina for it!"
"That was so yummy! I could always nibble on some more though."
"Time to go take my nappy! Bai bai!~"

Haha what do you guys think? I really want to try a new lens (I know I just got one) that has a higher aperture than mine but these still came out good I think. I like using him to practice my videography/photography skills hehe so he's used to having a camera pointed at him. Lord help my human kids o.o lol! I'm actually going to hurry off now to get ready to meet up with my friend Cheyenne who runs the CheyenneKpop YouTube channel. We're going to do a collab together so it should be fun! Talk to you guys soon!

Massive Taobao Haul W/Links

Long time, no see! This blog has been sort of dead lately but it's about to get turnt up with a buttload of reviews/hauls and the like soon. I actually am hoping you guys stick with me for those because seriously, I'm going to share a lot with you and I'm sticking to my word on that!

I was contacted by a Taobao agent to do a sponsorship for them by the name Cheapagency and they actually have a decent service fee as low as 6%! I never heard of them before so after doing my research and not finding any negative reviews of them, I agreed to use their services in a big group order my friends and I are doing together. I have not ordered this much stuff on taobao ever in my history of ordering off that site lol so I'm thrilled to receive all of my stuff in the mail after they ship it out to us.

Ever heard of Sweety Shop on taobao? They sell all of these adorable dolly, fairy-kei style clothing that you can also mix with some street fashion. I've seen the same items they sell on different Taobao shops as well and online stores but figured I'd just buy from them since they have so many things I wanted. I wanna give Bobon21 a rest for a little while and try something fresh and new! At least till winter comes this year!

Check out what I decided to get from them below! Click on the x below each photo to go straight to the item's page.
X
Look at those glorious manga eyes! The color scheme is magical too, how could I not get this?
X
The dress says "SLACKER". I pretty much am one more or less if you haven't noticed from the lack of blog post updates lol but I want it to sort of motivate me to not be one so it can be more of an ironic statement. Idk...since when do graphics on clothes need to make sense anymore anyway, am I right?
X
This blouse reminds me of LM.C or something I may have seen from the Galaxxxy clothing brand. I wanna wear stuff like this when the weather gets a little cooler in the fall but it's wearable for this season too so I figured why not get it now.
X
Such a cute creme x navy colored marine dress I can wear for various occasions! Not sure if it comes with an embedded petticoat but if not, I luckily just got one that would make it look really dolly and fluffy at the bell of this dress!

X
Another marine styled dress but with a twist! I believe the one I got comes with that sheer blouse you see she is wearing over it which I thought was a nice touch. They were also out of the white dress alone so I had no choice but at least I get more than one thing with this purchase. I can always wear it with other outfits/dresses of mine too!
X
Street fashion alert! Super glad I found this one! I love how it has a bold white texted aligned on each strap. It says "Is Where It's At!" so this one is sort of reasonable....right? Dah well! Still looks adorbs! I have a cute mickey x minnie mouse shirt I got from H&M that would be paired perfectly with this!
X
Sorry about the ultra bad quality in this one, I had to screen cap it. I got the yellow x black one since the white x black one was sold out but here's to wearing more street fashion inspired outfits! I love the slightly transparent dolman sleeve the top has and it comes with the polka dot pants! I can see myself wearing this a ton come fall semester! No joke. Look at how comfy it looks to lounge in.

The following are some cute basic graphic shirts I found on their store as well. I definitely plan to wear these throughout the rest of my summer!

X
X
X
That cute kitty one gets me every time! I randomly found a pair of cute light denim decked out jeans. I know I could easily DIY this (and I still might with a pair I'm no longer wearing) but I just wanted to buy them since they were cheap. Hopefully the size I got fits me alright.
X
Finally, I figured I'd order some more dolly shoes because I lack so much in that department of my wardrobe. I will do a closet tour eventually when all this stuff arrives and also before I move out into my own place! I've been telling myself how I really need to hurry up and get on that for so long now.

Sadly, I had no white colored ones yet so these were necessary. *keeps telling self that to make everything sound more logical*
X
The pink heeled shoes Sammydress sent me a while back already have defects with them (the bow they hot glued onto it fell the hell off...smh) so I am only left with one pair that I can't wear with my super dolly outfits. So these were perfect!

X
That's all! For a good while at least. I recommend you guys do group orders when buying off of taobao with people who are local to you. It saves money with the shipping costs/fees. I'm hoping this agency will pull through for all of us and get our stuff here before the next anime convention we're going to next month.

I hope you all have enjoyed your summer so far! I'm going to work on editing videos for the next few hours of my day then maybe head out to see some friends of mine to watch a Korean horror movie at a theater tonight! Have a good one cuties!

P.S.

I am currently hosting an Instagram giveaway! Please be sure to enter before the deadline next Tuesday!

Effectively Sealing Your Jewelry (DITCH THE CLEAR NAIL POLISH!)

$

0
You ever purchase jewelry from your typical fast fashion stores at the mall and a couple weeks after wearing them you start to notice a slight discoloration on its initially glossy finished coating? I'm sure you have if you've gone to buy some from places like Forever 21, Charolette Russe, Wet Seal, and the other well known American trendy shops. With daily wear, this can't be helped happening to cheap jewelry but what do you do to help maintain it's glorious appearance? Keep reading to learn how I did it easily!
In this post, I wanted to share a neat sealant I use to help resolve this issue by slowing down this process of the tarnishing jewlering. I can't say what kind of material that this works best on but it can be effectively used if you apply it on any shiny surface. Let's begin!
I bought my 3 oz. Krylon Short Cuts clear gloss spray at Michaels for just $3.49. If you use it wisely, it can last you a long time!
I was using my 2012 Tokidoki calendar as my scratch paper since I honestly had no newspapers to mess up but it is up to you on what you choose to use of course! Doesn't have to look cutesy. Just note that the can comes with it's own instructions on how to use the spray but I used it with my own discretion since I was not using it to paint over anything.
Remember to spray both the front and back side of your piece. I recommend starting off spraying the back, wait a couple of minutes for it to dry, then flip it over to spray the front.

Ta-dah! You're all done! Ever seen how some girls on YouTube quicken the process of their nails drying by soaking them in super cold water? It's the same idea here.

My first experience using it, the results came out to be a little sticky. It was most likely due to me accidentally overcoating my necklace with it at the time for my Tomb Raider cosplay. But let's say you have a lot to coat on a piece you own but don't want to coat a different texture that its attached to. It is also just as simple as the above example.
This time, allow the jewelry to air dry ONLY. Dunking those pretty feathers into some cold water may do some damage to its texture so be safe and wait for it to be completely dry before touching it again.

I made this post since I went on a jewelry hunt after realizing how tarnished my old neckalces and earrings have gotten. After throwing away so many of my old favorite pieces, I really wanted to make sure these new additions to my collection lasted me a longer time than those ones did. Using clear nail polish as some people suggest only ends up cracking and yellowing after time. But a gloss such as the one I used will prolong the luster of just about any metallic surface you apply it to! I discovered this tip on a tumblr post I saw once and am happy I gave it a shot. Now I'm sharing my tips with you!

I hope you found this post useful in some way. If there are other techniques you know of or have personally used yourself to seal your jewelry, I'd like to learn all about it! Leave a comment down below :D

Tofebruary Review ( Coupon Code Included! )

Tofebruary was kind enough to sponsor me with some of their items and if you never heard of them, they are an online boutique specializing in bringing Asia's cute and colorful fashion and accessories! Their imported items range from Korea, to Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. They have excellent customer service and provide you with quality clothing and jewelries. Each item is seen worn by me in the video embedded below.

The first item I got was this super cute sweetheart sweater!
View Me Here~

This is a comfy thick warm sweater to wear when the temp drops next season. I fell in love with this salmon color hue as soon as I saw it. Majority of my fall/winter items are more on the dark earthy tone side so having a bright fun color is a nice change! The heart shaped lace embellishment on the center of the chest adds such a cuter touch along with the sweet color. I'm a sucker for lace and pearls so having this with the wide lace trim on the color makes this a winner item for me. And I mean, come on. Loose fitted sweaters will always be adorable!

Next I had to finally try their fun "HELLO" snapback!
Visit Me Here~
My big head plus my big hair  normally makes wearing hats of any kind other than beanies difficult, but I still took the risk with this one and got it anyway. It is a different feel when worn with your regular graphic tees or causal dresses that instantaneously switches the look to a more streetwear style. When paired with the right shoes and jewelry, you'll be feeling like you belong in a 2NE1 music video in no time! lol no, in all seriousness, this will make you look super cute! You may laugh at the actual size of its bill since it is not your typical style. In comparison to American styled snapbacks, it is definitely smaller!

I haven't owned a decent pair of white colored tights since I was literally in elementary school so when I saw these I nearly passed out from joy!
Visit Me Here~
These are officially my new favorite pair of tights hands down! They fit excellently and are thick so tearing them will be less possible. The overall quality of them beats many of the ones I have purchase from various stores. The pattern of polka dots is a lovely design that can be worn with your cute dresses like the one I wore in the video below.

Lastly, they threw in this cute bunny ear headband for me to try as well. Must collect all the colors of these usamimi headbands!

Visit Me Here~
Simple yet so classy. The current bunny headbands I wear are not exactly wearable with every outfit but this one certainly is! You can wear this for pretty much all events since it is a solid black color and isn't too outlandish. Just like any other type of these headbands, there are wires inside of each "ear" so you can twist them in any direction you please.

Just because I love you guys so much, check this out~
Addtionally, they are having a 10% off everything summer sale AND only $1 shipping for U.S. orders so go to their site to see what you like to take advantage before these events end! That concludes this review of Tofebruary, and I am look forward to seeing what other items they will be getting in the near future for me to review for you all!

Kevin and I celebrated our 3rd year anniversary together yesterday (today is the actual date however) and I can't wait to blog about it ^ ^ It was so romantic! Be sure to watch how I wore each of the previously mentioned items above in the video here! And subscribe to my channel!

Our 3rd Year Anniversary at Estillo Gaúcho (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

Hello cuties! How was everyone's weekend? Good I hope! Mine was pretty romantic since Saturday marked my 3rd year anniversary with my boyfriend Kevin. Last Friday, Kevin and I met up to celebrate it together for dinner at this fancy Brazilian steakhouse called Estillo Gaúcho! Here's what we both wore.
My dress is from Urban Outfitters although I wasn't sure if this was the right one to wear but because I was running late, I had to go with it regardless. He liked it though so I guess it wasn't a bad choice in the end.

When we got there, it was quite similar to the other fine dinning restaurants he's taken me out to in the past years which was not a bad thing by any means. There were workers who ran to the doors to open them for us and we both had our chairs pulled out for us so we can sit in them. I always feel a little awkward when I am treated like this at these kind of places since I'm always trying to out-kind people (at least until they prove to me that they don't deserve it that is) so I found myself continuously giving out "thank yous" throughout the night. It's needless to say I sounded like a broken record.

They had a great salad bar but I still prefer Fugo de Chao's or Texas de Brazil's simply because of how much more of a variety you have get them in comparison. Either way, I thoroughly enjoyed every bite, especially the glorious meats! There weren't very many pictures we took of them but here's a sample of my partially nibbled dish and our side dishes!
Snapped a pic of him looking as handsome as always!
 Then there's blurry me lol
More shots of the actual restaurant from the perspective of our table.

An embarrassing moment I had that night was when I drunk my first glass of their red wine. I asked the waiter which one was sweet and he recommended me the first one on the list so I went with that. He soon brought out then pours it into my wine glass and I just say thank you and kindly wait for him to leave before drinking it except he was patiently waiting for something. I had no idea that you should drink your wine first before they pour you more into your glass so he eventually left right before Kevin explained to me the proper response of his service. We laughed and I took a small sip of it after he was gone and immediately choked on it...hard! It was embarrassing. I literally wanted to my life to end. They saw my unfortunate struggle and gave me white wine that was far sweeter in comparison to the first one. Thank goodness I survived that moment.

My non-death inducing wine!
Our waiter did a great job at persuading us to get a dessert even though we were about our stomachs were nearly at full capacity. It was this delicious papaya smoothie type drink topped off with an alcoholic syrupy type of sweet liquid. It reminded me of the smoothies my dad used to make for us when I was a kid minus the alcohol of course.
I was a happy girlfriend to say the least!
He gave me a sweet card with how much he hopes we can have more years together and I honestly cried. It didn't help that I had my TOM so being emotional was inevitable. It's like he tries to make me cry by being so sentimental it's not fair! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ

No I kid. Not many boyfriends would go out of there way to do that though so it's definitely a characteristic I truly love about him.
I've said it before, and I will say it again. I still do not know how I got so lucky. There's so many girls out there that he could have picked but for whatever reason, here we are. A strongly attached young couple ready to take on the world together no matter how tough the going gets. I am really excited for next month's vacation to LA as we will spend more personal time together. Honestly, it could get here any slower but at least it's coming.

He also bought me this gorgeous bouquet of pink roses. I love them so much especially how they look on my dresser in my room!
We've had shaky times...so shaky that it's been close to ending everything but each time we face a bump in the road, we still are stuck together like white on rice. I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Thank you in advance for any kind words! I'm off to film some videos now for my channel and a friend. Then I'm going to work out later with my sis. Such a busy day. Till next time!

My KCON 2014 & LA Experience! | Part 1

*Insert a slew of apologies on being behind on posts for a prolonged amount of time*

This was absolutely hands down without a doubt the best summer I have had in my young adult life. The experience of not only going to KCON and meeting amazing people, but exploring LA on top of that made me feel like I need to make trips like these a annually no matter what the cost so long as I a crew of awesome friends with me.

If you don't know, back in August, I went to go to LA for a week to attend KCON and to finally see all the cool spots Tima would always tell me about when she'd go see her boyfriend. I have never flown without my family with me so this was a first for me and Kevin as well. I was lucky enough to convince him to come join us in our adventure and to my surprise he was able to get off work for the entire week we planned to stay there! Before we knew it, our date for departure quickly arrived and we were off to our fun week in Los Angeles, California!
I knew we were far from Texas when I saw these massive mountains.
I'll have to remember to look into paying a little extra for a better airline than Southwest considering how long the baggage claim was but maybe this happens with other airlines every now and then so maybe I shouldn't be too harsh.

We went to KCON as performers for the first day of the convention for our friend Chichi's Superstar KCON contest entry. I just had to get my nails did to help me emulate the bad female vibe I got from CL's baddest female music video which is one of the two songs we did for the dance but I will never get them this long again. The couple weeks or so prior to the big day we intensely practice our asses of learning the original choreography and completely creating our own for the sake of we simply are not professional dancers and there was no damn way we'd be able to move that quickly without a solid two months worth of practice. I feel like with what we did do, it turned out great!
The base color was by O.P.I but I forget the name of it now.
We got to LA, met up with Kevin Chan (aka 7Subtle on YouTube) who kindly allowed us to stay in his comfy abode conveniently located in Koreatown and for dinner had some Korean BBQ. We got up early to head to the con the next day and saw that the lines were insanely long to get in! Luckily for us, we were able to be with the panel check in so we didn't have to go through any of that bunch a hooplah!
It was here where we were able to take pics of some of the special guests and chit chat with them while we waited for passes and direction on where to go. Guess who we saw there! JRE from JREKML's YouTube channel!
Then there was the gorgeous Allysse who is an awesome American Kpop singer! She told me she knew me from when I was in my gyaru days haha! Must have been way back since I haven't represented it for idk how long now. We later watched her perform on stage and she did a great job! Made me wanna take a stab at it myself but realistically, I need more practice on all levels of dancing and singing before that.
One of the best memories I will always carry with me from that trip was the moment I was able to meet Miles and his brother Johnny. Good vibes spewing everywhere and we just clicked right off the bat! MilesJaiProductions is a successful YouTuber who loves Asian pop culture and does reviews, skits, and other awesome content on his channel if you didn't know. If you like what I do, you'll love what he does!

Nick from soundlyawake was there too with Ken but I didn't take pics with Ken sadly -.- I hope they go again next year so we can hang out like we were able to with Miles. I really want to get to know both of them more since I love Nick's channels! Yet again, another easy person to talk to and he's so photogenic!
Miles spent the remainder of the week with us unexpectedly after Johnny left the following Monday which I will also blog and vlog about too soon.

KCON was the convention where I felt legitimately overwhelmed from how frequently I was stopped to take pictures. Why do I get a feeling that majority of my subbies are mainly into kpop culture instead of jpop culture? Don't be surprised if a poll pops up one day to get an idea for fun. But seriously, thank every single last one of you for coming up to me and saying hello! It made the convention even more memorable and I bonded with you guys for a brief moment in a way that I have always wanted to, so thank you thank you thank you so much! I have more photos of me with some of you lovelies from the days after this first one but I'll save them for the next posts, okay?
A fan of both me and Tima's!
The beauties each of you were stunned me! I need to step my kawaii game up in future events so we can dominate the internets with our gorgeous aegyoness! Okay let me stop and continue on before I lose followers...

There was so many options to eat at the food trucks and while we tried different items from chicken to skewered seasoned potatoes on a stick, we had some enthusiatic vendors begging us to still eat their food like this guy doing so with Miles here.
Poor Miles haha!

It was finally time for the main event of the evening. THE CONCERT! We all got the P3 seating that was available for both days of the concert and luckily Miles was able to sneak in a couple rows behind us where Tima was sitting so she wasn't too lonely! Surprisingly, we didn't get moved around because of it.

Don't get me started on how incredible that stage looked!
People filled the seats too! The lights eventually went down and the audience was ready for the show to begin! I was finally able to be at a concert where people had these cool glow sticks which added a neat ambiance to the atmosphere! I only had mine on the second night because I was in such a clusterf*ck to find where everyone was getting their's from in the marketplace that day.
Before we even left for LA, I remember days before listening to as many of the artists as I possibly could to get myself hyped up and I found that B1A4 is a pretty damn good group! I don't know all of the members but their happy energy picks up mine instantaneously!

Solo Day was performed and I was so glad because that was the main song of theirs that I knew and liked the most! They were honestly super adorable in their shorts and high socks too. I mean just look at them.
Then IU did her performance in her cute lacey white dress but sadly I knew none of the songs she sung '^' Nevertheless, she was such a cutie and although she mentioned how her English was not very good, I thought she did a pretty decent job trying!
My dude G-Dragon performed and after the years and years that I discovered Big Bang, this was the best section of the event for me! Look at this man's gear tho.
If Big Bang ever comes back to the U.S. I must go because they seriously are the reason why I stuck with Kpop since I was 13 years old (I'm 22 now!). Is it just me, or do many of the kpop lovers seem to have only been into kpop for about 5 years or less? I feel so old when I mention groups that I used to love and no one knows who they were.

After GD's performance, confetti shot out everywhere and the first night of KCON was pretty much over. They all came out to bid their goodbyes and throw free merch into the audience. Too bad our seats weren't close enough for that.
That was about it! I still had to leave out a few things but for the sake of not making this an even longer post, you'll just have to see the rest whenever I am able to edit my vlogs after I get my new computer built.

Oh! Speaking of which, I am going to have a new desktop built for me and it'll be decked out from inside to to the outside. I can't reveal all of the specs as I keep forgetting the names of the processor, graphics card, and the like but I promise to make a video on all my gadgets for you guys in case you are interested in knowing what machine I use to edit my photos and videos! Till next time, ttyl!

My KCON 2014 & LA Experience! | Part 2

After undergoing a chaotic yet fun filled day at KCON, I wanted nothing more than to take it easy and make sure I felt as comfortable as possible on the final day of the weekend. I remember feeling bummed knowing that it was only 2 days long since I'm using to conventions running for at least 3 days. But I knew I would return next year no matter what so it wasn't too terrible.

I wore my cute Mickey + Minnie Mouse shirt over some black tights with my red high heel pumps on. It's needless to say those only stayed on my feet for 20 minutes because there was no way I was trying to slay that outfit with those shoes killing my feet the entire time. Sometimes comfort wins over all else. Most of the pictures I took were during the first few moments after I walked in the convention, so it worked out much better that way!

Here's a cute mascot we soon saw for a Korean fried chicken food truck vendor. The cuteness made me feel inclined to take a pic with it!
Miles and Nick had to attend their LGBT panel and we of course went with them to show them some support! It was neat listening to each different perspective from all the YouTubers who were also on the panel and I really liked how respectful the audience was when each person was speaking. Maybe I'll do a panel in an upcoming convention? Who knows! lol don't you hate these potential hints I keep dropping around? I try and stop!
After that, we continued to walk around to find more activities to do. I remember running into quite a number of followers on this day of the con as well but am sad to say that I don't have as many pics from Sunday since Kevin wasn't around to take them of me with my lovelies who said hello and wanted pictures, but it's okay! If you do have any pics with me from KCON and want them to be in my vlog, please tag me on my Instagram which is thelovelyify!
Throughout the day, I kept thinking to myself that no matter how much cold drinks I drank, or fans I used, it was such a hot day! Still nothing compared to the summer heat in Texas, but when you're out and about in the heat for hours walking around, it will still get to you. It did for me! I should have done what Miles did a wore my hair short. Next year though, next year!

The last day of the con had GG perform as the final act. There was also other groups like Teen Top, CNBLUE, and BTS. It was nice to see Girls Generation perform "Gee" and "Genie" and they did a wonderful job at their introduction and speeches! I'm still more of a fan of other girl groups but they were one of the first kpop groups I was ever exposed to so I can't deny I was thrilled seeing them live for the first time!
Alas, the convention was officially over. I didn't take as many pics as I thought I did so let me add that I enjoyed watching cocoavenue perofrm live on stage, being on mnet's KCON 2014 Experience show and much more! All of that extra stuff will be featured in my vlogs soon to come so be sure to already subscribe to my YouTube channel for those!
On the following day, we were invited by fellow kpop YouTubers to join their meet-n-greet event at this neat cafe called Iota in K-town!
Many attendees showed up and they played kpop music videos on the tv screens the whole time we were there! This was where I got better acquainted with some other YouTubers like JRE which was so cool! To my disappointment however, I missed getting the chance to meet FamousAmos as I learned he was there much earlier before we came so I'm guessing he left early. Maybe next year?

All in all, the food was absolutely devine! I got a seafood alfredo pasta with bread on the side and then ordered my favorite patbingsu I've ever had in my life!
Tumblrworthy!
Flies were everywhere though and made me want to find an electric fly swatter to take care of business so I could eat in peace! Of course that never happened. Miles tried to use my portable electronic fan as a way to fight them off but despite all of our efforts, we still lost that battle. At least I ate most of my food before they finished our plates off.

Here we were posing with JRE and Miles before leaving the cafe!
My hair looked like poo that day!
The two Kevins being...well...Kevin!
We then went to grab a some bobba for Chichi if I'm not mistaken at this place next to Iota after we left.
Progressing much later that night, we were joined in on an improve workshop class that (Tima's) Kevin regularly goes to each week. Despite one guy being a major douche and trying to bring down the mood, everyone cracked me up with their great skills as improvisation! I was recently suggested to take up a class at my university but I'm still contemplating it.

I hope I get the chance to not only go to KCON 2015 but also AX next summer! I want to finally be in the con of all anime cons for once and I plan to bring my A game! I'll have to start planning really soon on who I am going with, budgeting, cosplay ideas, and the like. For now though, I just need to figure out how to sew my own clothes and make patterns lol!
The sunsets in LA look so beautiful compared to the ones I'm used to seeing in Texas. It could be because of all the pollution they say but who knows! I'm off to finish adding tweaks to my new wig and I'll be sure to share it as soon as I am able to start filming again. Hopefully next week! I'll talk to you all soon!

KollectionK Reivew | Etude House Highlighter, Cheek color, & Lipstick!~

KollectionK is one of the most underrated online shops for Korean merch. They ship worldwide, free shipping to US with orders over $100 (group orders anyone?) and they are located in Seoul, Korea! They have a convenient and user-friendly designed website to navigate through and they carry all of your favorite Korean make up brands like Holika Holika, Missha, Skin Food, Etude House and more!

To my surprise, they kindly offered to send me the following Etude House items of my choice to review both here on my blog and on my YouTube channel.
While checking out their items, I delightfully came across this uniquely designed highlighter.

This is Etude House's Golden Ratio Face Glam Highlighter in #1
When I first played around with it I saw it had two compartments. A solid form which was revealed after opening the top cap along with a handy mirror and a liquid form that is within the bottled portion of the highlighter.
I find both forms of this highlighter to be easily blended although I tend to use the liquid version more than the solid because it has a slightly warmer finish as you will see in the next image of my swatches. The solid swatch appears just a bit whiter so I am usually careful with how much I use with it.
I like to apply my highlighter underneath my foundation to give it a more natural looking glow so this is usually my everyday go-to highlighter to achieve that purpose and it works wonderfully! If you think this color won't suit you, check out the #2 shade instead. For $14.97, you'll get tons of product in this single highlighter of theirs.

Next up is my favorite lipstick of the season! Dear My Blooming Lips in the shade PK015!
Shall we just admire the adorable style of this packaging for a moment? It makes you want to collect them all for room decor and it is tempting to refrain myself from doing that after getting this one!

My only con with it is that the bow piece eventually became loose after only removing the cap a few times shortly after receiving it but so far that is the only flaw.

The imprint on the bullet of the lipstick makes it appear so elegant but the most admirably trait to this lippie is its color! It is a gorgeous berry hue shade that's perfect for fall and winter. It lasts for hours so long as you pair it with a complimenting lip liner. The one I pair it with is NYX's plum.
It's opaque coverage makes it easy to build the color with so I usually wear it when I do bold looks. If you plan on wearing this, properly exfoliate and moisturize your lips as this is a matte lipstick. From the photos on Kollectionk's site, they all appear to be sheer except for this shade. This currently retails for $10.50.

Last up is this lilac colored liquid blusher.

Water Color Cheek Blusher in No. 4 Lilac also comes in 3 different shades that I probably should have tried out first before this one. I'll stick to my deeper shades of purple from now on because sadly this will make your skin look ashy if you are tan and definitely my skin tone.
The texture however is smooth but after rubbing it in long enough to blend out, it feels a little chalky.
 D:

Maybe I could use it for face paint during Halloween this year! lol! But if you do have light skin this color might work out for you. I just know better than to be adventurous and attempt something this different again. This costs $6.76!

That concludes my review for this site and I hope you all enjoyed reading through it. My apologies for the lack of posts, I'll try and catch up again this weekend or so. Till then cuties!~

Birthday Dinner + Kevin's bday!

$

I've been so swamped with midterms, projects and organizations that it's showing in my blog > < I'm hoping I can at least post one or two a week though starting now till i'm able to catch up.

Nevertheless, I had my birthday back in August on the 25th, and I turned 22! My friends came to celebrate it with me at a nice Chinese buffet not too far from my new apartment and it went well! I wore the same dress I mentioned on my haul video that night and temporarily switched to the wig I wore earlier this year which explains the different style.
Kyle never ceases to amaze me with her outstanding cakes like this Rilakkuma one she made for everyone that evening. Like dang girl, BLESS YOU! Have you guys seen anything like it?
After some slices were nommed on, he was left earless...
Poor guy. But he still remained just as cute as a button after he went deaf which is all that matters, right? I can't seem to find where on earth I placed all of the photos from this night sadly with my friends but I think I remember having Kevin film more than take pictures so I'll be sure to share the dinner footage on my channel when I get that vlog up.

Pictures of me with my sister and my friend Nikkita made it somehow though!
I nearly cried when I saw the overwhelming amount of gifts I was given on this year. I'm not sure why people wanted to spoil me so much but I could have not received anything other than their company and still have been happy! I don't think I shared a wishlist this year too for that reason but do realize how grateful I am for all of them and the cute cards!

To share my treasured presents, here's a compilation for you all to browse through.

I also got a beautiful Michael Kors bag from Kevin and I'll share that when I do a What's In Your Bag Tag on here soon!

They honestly gave me such really USEFUL presents! I use most of these for school, home decor, outfits and more ^ ^ So thank you everyone who was able to show me love on my special day! I promise to do the same on your bdays and I'll do my best to come to your celebrations like you did for mine! My friends are everything, I swear.

Since we're on the topic of birthdays, guess who had his last month? My boo bear!
I made a group message on Facebook with all of our mutual friends so we could get together and celebrate his birthday since he rarely does. I was so glad we picked the perfect restaurant to do it at too because they did a Chinese lion dance for him and lit his cake too which was so much fun! I hope to keep making his birthdays bigger and bigger each year too! Sure it's a little stressful on my end, but it's worth it as long as his goofy self is happy.

After the dinner, we went back to my apartment, played games and watched videos on my new desktop so it was a great time spent with our friends overall! Good vibes everywhere, we couldn't ask for more!
I'm hoping I can go to some Halloween parties this month but I need to get out two of my videos out asap before the actual day! I best you guys wanna see updated make up tutorials so I figured this would be a fun way to kick it off again! It's been nearly a year!

I'm going to try and edit more photos to talk about in a separate blog post so I hope you guys have a great weekend! Before I go, I have to share two anime series that you guys must watch to get your Halloween spirits up! Both are pretty popular but just in case here you go!
I feel like Shiki starts off faster than my other favorite horror anime Another so you will be able to get hooked within the first couple episodes or so and when it closes to an end it's like you can't stop clicking the next episode link because of how much they pull you into the story line as it unravels. Small thing I sort of didn't like was the way they drew some of the main male characters eyes (Dr. Ozaki and Natsuno) and the air of the girl in the image. It looks awkward lol but that's just me being picky!
TG is what everyone was talking about this summer along with S2 Free but I can't seem to get into the other anime that was hyped up besides this one! It is so interesting and shockingly made me cry about two times! It's not just gore and violence but I enjoyed seeing the character development of Ken in particular. *hint hint* I might want to do a tutorial on someone from this series but I won't say who just yet so stay subbed to my channel.

Okay, now I'm gone!!

20,000 Subscriber Giveaway! + Updates

My deepest apologies blog readers! Managing YouTube on top of school work and a blog has proven to be damn near impossible for me especially being in five classes this semester. I just couldn't do it as much as I wanted to and I hope you forgive my short hiatus. At least it didn't last too long.

Truly though, I do miss posting on here and  interacting with the other blogs I regularly follow. If everything goes according to plan, I'm going to hop back into the swing of things this winter break. I'll do my best to catch up with reviews in particular since I have a lot to talk about (I always say this -.-)!

While I was away I was working on tons of projects including putting together a giveaway for my YouTube channel that hit over 20,000 subscribers recently! *backflips* I'm so lucky to have had such awesome followers to make that possible for me so here's me showing thanks for your kindness! Check out the prizes below!

No but seriously that plushie and tote bag are both super big, I love it!

I'm also throwing in some fun letters too for all the winners! Learn how to join by watching the video down below!!
Good luck!!

I'm sure many of you in school are rounding up your semester like myself with finals and projects perhaps. After realizing how much stuff I needed to get completed in such a short period of time, I literally was about to have a breakdown a few nights ago but was able to get composure over myself. It was pretty awful because of how backed up my work was and truthfully, it was due to me being an idiot by procrastinating all of my work till the last minute. Luckily my professors love me enough to not make it a big deal like I was at first (bless you EMAC program for constantly being so good to me!).

Grades won't be posted for a while but I'm feeling much more confident about getting all A's again but that thought of getting a B or worse, a C was what made me freak out so much over my work.

With that said, I'd like to remind everyone who's in my position with school that during this time, please try not to beat yourselves up over getting the best grade too much because I know a lot of people who not only stress out like hell around this time but also go into deep funks and minor depression. Not saying I went through that, but if you feel like everything is too much feel free to talk to me about it by sending me a message.

To end things on a better note, it's confirmed Kevin and I will be moving in together next spring for sure! I really wish the best for his parents when they move back to China though. You guys send him and his family all of your prayers and positive energies while they go through this transition into their new chapter in life. I will also do the same. Anyway, let me end but expect posts to come more frequently while I play catch up! Till then!

Being a Special Guest @ Kpop Roller Skate Night!

An event I only vlogged about shortly that I had so much fun at as a first-timer was Hallyu Entertainment's Kpop Roller Skate Night! Along with a few other Kpop YouTubers, I too was a special guest that night and met quite a number lovelies at the event!

Truth be told, I was honored to be considered a special anything! Regretfully, I wasn't able to have decently set up booth that time for my lovelies to look at. However, after learning more specifics on how the event was supposed to be like I later on got a lot of the materials I needed to make sure that didn't happen again for the next event I was invited too.

My super cute friend Bu Ah was there with her store's booth, CosplayNCharm! You know of her store by now, right? Haha!
At some point during the event, we randomly were hanging out with these two all night! Jason (left) and Jimmy (right) who both happened to be Cantonese. As I normally do when I learn someone is Cantonese, I freaked out and told them how my boyfriend is too! My inner spazz comes out since there's a heavy population of Mandarin speakers compared to Cantonese speakers in this part of Texas but for all I know they could be hiding out in a little corner that I've never discovered yet.

In all seriousness though, if I were able to find people to help me learn the language though that would mean so much to me! Back to the post!
Viet taking a picture of Kevin taking a picture of Viet. Photographception!! Side note: He's the guy who contacted me to be apart of the event.

The following pictures are terribly cute, they kill me! Hence why I added stuffs to em in photoshop hehe!~
Although I'm not a professional skater, I managed to not fall on my bum the entire night but my poor hubby Kevin. I'm pretty sure he only went a total of 2.5 entire laps throughout the night and ended up still falling down at one point nearly bringing down a random girl with him! I love how he still tried though. Look at how tiny he looks crouched in that picture n.n
These last pictures are of my lovelies I met that night! Of course I forget to not also vlog with them but next time I will do my best to remember these things.
Talking to a crowd of gorgeous lovelies! One of which is now apart of my school's kpop club (Ta'Ne!) so we see each other more often!
Kevin had to get in there at some point! The girl with the cute blue hat is already creating a magazine! I'm definitely wanting to see where she goes with it and her mother was so sweet! Thanks again for coming out!
Bunny ears on the left is a new YouTuber I started following who also does plenty of other great things online about kpop culture. Please check her stuff out when you get a chance! I feed off of her energy!

And to end off this post...
Right after I finished annoucing the winner of a the raffle, Kevin took this series of pictures and after I put them into the form of a GIF...well you might notice something moving around.

...TOO STINKIN ADORBS!

He has no clue what's going on! This was really all to my first experience at this event though. Afterwards we did go and eat at IHOP but I didn't think you guys wanted me to take pictures there. After going I felt inspired to do big events like this or somehow be apart of them like I was for this one so thank you Hallyu Entertainment for giving me that opportunity. They recently had me do another event a few weeks back as well which I'll blog about later.

Like I said, I'm going to keep this blogging this up all winter break so please be sure to stay following my posts! I'll see you in my next one!

Sponsored Review | CHOiES Fall Selections

$

I told myself I'd do reviews on here as well as my channel so here's me attempting to get back on track with that promise during this break!

If you haven't already seen my video review of the clothes Choies sent me, then shame on you! I THOUGHT WE WERE FRAAENZZ! But, I'll forgive your slacking so long as you watch it at the end of this post you little cutie bun! ♥

Christmas came early last month and they let me pick out some stuff on their site to review for you which I ended up mostly falling in love with! Take a look at this dress for starters!

Check me out

Lately, I've been feeling inclined more than ever to wear tight fitted shirts and bodycon dresses! They accentuate my curves especially my waist so they're the kind of dresses that will make a certain boyfriend go weak! These are his words, not mine!

This design is gives off a powerful and bold vibe and while I say this with a lot of black x gold/silver items I review I have to mention the familiar characteristics it has with the YG Family. I would say 2NE1 like I mentioned in the video, but I wouldn't want to leave Big Bang feeling left out.

My favorite detail it has is the mesh material on the sleeves and lower part of the dress! But it's important to be mindful on how high it tends to rise especially if you aren't wearing shorts, you'll possibly end up flashing the room with your panties so wear shorts for these just to be safe. As a matter of fact, wear shorts for ALL of these! Moving on up to a classy dress that will make heads turn!
Check me out!

Could this dress get anymore fancy? The material didn't feel cheap either and I almost wished they had it in white as well so I could wear it in the spring. Once in a while when I need a black dress I do end up thinking that nothing in my collection will work but with this one, I can no longer see that being an issue like it was before!

Again, this dress is made with mesh material on the back and upper chest sections as well as the midsection. To add on to that, the rhinestone jewelry sewn down along the collar definitely tops off the design making that my favorite detail! Wearing this with any pair of my silver earrings, bracelets or rings would smoothly put together a great look for any appropriate occasion that calls for it!

One major let down with it though...
I didn't show as much of a close up in my video review, but sadly the zipper in the back did one of these numbers on me. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I bet all I need are pliers to pull down the zipper but I would hate to mess anything up.

Needless to say, the fact that I literally wore this dress one time made this feel like a big bummer but that's why I do these reviews for you guys just to let you know about the quality that can be lacking in some areas! Now, onto the last item I picked out.
Check me out!
Mini skirt indeed! At first, you don't notice just how short it stops until you realize where the inner slip ends and the feathers tapering out near the bottom starts. So please be extra mindful with this one and avoid trying to do a cute high-waisted silhouette with it. You'll only make your cheeks peek through the back like I nearly did while filming the video review! Yikes!
The quality on the other hand of these feathers are excellent and they're pretty long! I'd say about on average 3 inches in length a feather. This skirt though will shed like mad at first. Perhaps it's the type of thing that happens with material like this when being a little manhandling for the first time. If I'm right in what I'm thinking about it, once the dead weights fallen off the shedding may be less frequent?

This was the only fully body picture I managed to remember to take during the filming of the video.
Looks cute with my furry white wet seal top and heels!

That's all they were able to send me the first time reviewing for them! For the most part I liked what I got and I feel like their prices for these items can be good. I've seen an equal balance of both affordable and expensive clothes on their site. They usually do flash sales too and have coupon codes for first time customers! I would provide one but I never got one to give out :/

As I mentioned above, check out the video to see me wear all of the outfits below!
Other than that, I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! I mostly stayed at home and worked on my new wig installment, my J-fashion documentary, and editing other videos to be uploaded next week.

I'm definitely going to study most of today to make sure I do well on my final exam tomorrow. Then I'm treating Kevin to a fun day at this Korean spa and sauna we haven't been to yet! I'm so stoked! Look at these picture of it!!
It's a slightly older one than Spa Castle but my friends tell me it's better! I can't wait! Check out the site here. Till then lovelies!

Preview of Taobao Haulin' With Cheapagency!~

$

0
Guess what? After dealing with so much this semester both with school and personal conflicts, I figured I'd eventually want to spoil myself to make sure I wouldn't be too much in a rut after this was all over and done with. Thankfully, my sponsor over at cheapagency was kind enough to allow me a chance to use their services again when shopping on taobao and I as able to pick out a lot of cute things which aren't all from the same stores I usually purchase from for once!
My parcel was already shipped out as of yesterday so soon you will see me reviewing what I got on there on my blog and YouTube channel! Like most agencies, they use EMS shipping so everything comes rather quickly with them! Let's get into what I picked.

☆Wigs☆

X
When I first read the title describing this wig, it said it was Atsuko Maeda's from AKB0048 but I have no clue who she is. I was just in love with the gradient style of these two gorgeous shades of purple in this long bob wig! Seems like I can never stray too far away from purple hair. Plus the price seemed quite reasonable.
X
Speaking of two toned wigs, here's yet another gorgeous one I found! Ever since this trend of ash colored hair began, I've always wanted to try it out for myself but there was no way I was going to do so on a wig I made considering how I'm no professional colorist! Most likely I'd screw up somehow and immediately follow up that up with regretting the idea entirely so getting a wig that's made to look just the way I want is definitely not a terrible option to look into.

Best of all, it's inspired by Ayamo and Amo, an adorabe edgy pair of Harajuku models!

X
Out of all the wigs I currently own, not a single one has cute clip on pony tails like a lot of the cute lolitas and local cosplayers have on their wigs so as my first one I got this brown colored one since I wanted to keep it somewhat natural to wear with different styles. When I buy another one like this, which I will without a doubt, it'll probably be extra curly!

Expect a buttload of videos and pictures of me wearing not just this one but all of these wigs! They give me several ideas of lookbooks and photoshoots that it's satisfyingly overwhelming.

☆Clothes☆

X
This time I didn't want to get too many since I wanted to stay within Cheapagency's budget. As simply as it may seem, for some reason I couldn't resist getting this plaid frayed shawl to wear over my darker outfits for when I feel like taking inspiration from Nana or something. There are scarves I own that might recreate the same appearance but the material looks thick and warm compared to them, so I still got it regardless.
X
Do I need more hoodies? Absolutely not. But this is an exception! Look at that sick design! I would love to have more designs like this in my wardrobe but they have to still represent me as an individual.

When browsing through stores that sell Harajuku street fashion on aliexpress I've seen so many that represent something on it that doesn't apply to me at all! Do you guys ever feel that way about this kind of fashion?

For instance, I've never bought any of the trending BOY London clothes because I had no clue what his brand was all about to begin with so I feel like a poser. Same with the graphic hoodies with symbols that make no sense to me! As cool as they all look, knowing exactly what I'm wearing is pretty important to me. The Hello Kitty on the back of this hoodie was enough for me to get this one!~

☆Socks☆

X
Not much to say in this category other than how much I've been wanting to get thigh highs that don't look like they're squeezing out a tube of sausages out of my legs. I think I got a couple of these actually in black and white.
X
Pretty sure I got these in black only. They won't squeeze my legs any kind of way since they're tights that imitate thigh highs, I wish there were more like it. Plus it says these are bobon21's new velvet soft pantyhouse so I'm looking forward to feeling the texture of them!
X
Every dolly style wearer needs a bunch of these kind of trim laced socks! I got them in both pink and white and I've never owned pink ones so I can't wait to try them out.

That's it for my preview for my Taobao haul I will do soon. You guys should check out cheapagency if you're thinking of getting a friend a cute gift off of any taobao store here!

Other than that, I'm going to head off to school soon after I eat my late lunch to work on my essay all day. My final exam went super well yesterday and this is the absolute LAST thing I have left to do school wise so I'm going to slay on it!

But before I go here's a sneak peak to me and Kevin's next video I'll be uploading sometime this week for you all!

Hint: It's a TAG!~

Galaxxxy Dress from Fairytale Boutique

Only two more days until Christmas! How excited are you all? So far, I've been spending time these last few days with some of my favorite people! I even got a chance to meet an online friend of mine (check out her channel here!) but I'll vlog about that soon!

Remember when I went to LA? In one of the vlogs, I showed how we went into this adorable boutique and they had adorable lolita accessories and dresses everywhere!

It was the Fairytale Boutique located in Little Tokyo in LA. They sell Japanese street fashion like lolita and gothic pieces, although I mostly saw more lolita styles. To my surprise, their prices weren't outrageous like I originally assumed they would be which is the reason why I left with a new dress to add to my collection from there!

Ever since I heard about Galaxxxy, I knew it'd be yet another brand I'd be too broke to ever own but they happened to have this dress there that day and guess how much it was?

$25~
As you can see, the dress got wrinkled right after my steamer clogged up on me so sorry about the appearance of the material.

Wearing dresses with tiers of ruffled layers always makes me feel dainty and cute! But with the gold print trim on the black sheer fabric, it helps create an elegant look as well
Inside of the dress, there is an opaque slip that falls just where the ends of my fingers when placed to my sides so I usually wear a cute black ruffled miniskirt underneath and some shorts.
Recently, I wore it out to go to a friend's graduation dinner and I honestly was feeling myself way too much that night!

Hopefully I am able to buy more when I go to Japan next summer!

On some other news, I am getting sponsored a butt load of circle lenses to review soon and also giveaway! I've never been sent so many pairs of lenses at once before so I'm pretty stoked right now and can't wait for you to see the ones I picked out! Later today, I'm going to film a dance video with my girl Tima so wish me luck!

Cheapagency Haul | Round 1

$

This is going to be a post over the order I placed back in the summer which I apologize for just now making a blog post review but you'll have to forgive me on that one! I also just got the next box of stuff from Cheapagency to review soon as well so y'all give me the strength to push out these videos!

At any rate, I made a video where I showed all of the cute items I wore from the taobao shops I ordered from but I wanted to also share pictures of the clothes as well here on my blog. If you'd like to get the links to each item, click here to see the original post I made that have the links listed.

First up is this precious marine styled dolly dress with a detachable bow on the chest.
I'm in love with it's shape and ruffled trim along the edges of the collar all the way around to the back flap. It's not short and is of a satisfying quality! My only wish with it is that the bow weren't so flimsy. Along with it came this cool translucent apron to wear over it.
Needless to say, you can wear this with other outfits as well and it'd give them an interesting characteristic instead of looking flat on it's own.

I got a sister of this dress in a navy x white. Similar to the previous dress, it creates a cute bell shaped silhouette. I find myself still wanting to wear a petticoat underneath for a more desired poof though! Despite this one having no ruffled trims, I can see it working well with many different coats or long jackets.
Because at the time when I ordered these it was during summer, I felt like wearing lots of cute tanks for once instead of my simple solid colored ones so I opted for these!
Perhaps my favorite one out of the bunch because of it's fun textual designs and reminiscent color palette of an ice cream shop! Their tanks are pretty long so I was happy to be able to pair them up with a white miniskirt underneath to imitate a dress-like appearance.

Speaking of ice cream, this was a cute one I thought I'd try out! They printed part of the design on the inside of the shirt for whatever reason, so you can't see the full "Happy Birthday" text when it's worn on unfortunately. I originally got it because my bday was around the corner but I'm still loving that tasty looking bowl of ice cream though!
I don't even like cats tbh but this one slightly reminded me of Hachi at first glance so this one is an exception. He reminds me of bunnies too!

Moe eyed crop top shirt time!
I'm in love with this one so much and regret not getting a chance to wear it during KCON. The illustration of eyes almost look as if they are actually sparkling! When you put on the sheer glittery shirt on top, it creates that effect even more! That piece is detachable and can of course be wore with many other outfits! I wish I had it in more colors too like black, pink and purple!

On to the more darker colored clothes!~

Aside from the terribly short length, this is a street style inspired suspender skirt to wear with lots of the different bold shirts I have! Creating looks with it should be easy but I do honestly wish it was longer.
The long length of this blouse is perfect for pairing it with some cute leggings or a ruffled miniskirt underneath. Its lightweight feel makes this extra comfortable to wear and the added character that the fun badges sewn on the right side of the chest area gives it was a nice touch! I do remember finding some loose strings on the bottom of it though.
And lastly, this is one of my favorite sets! I originally wanted a different design instead of this one, but the others were out of stock. I'm not disappointed with its graphic although besides the bird, I can't exactly make out what it's supposed to be. A cat? Tiger? Who knows!

It also has striped solid and sheer fabric going from the top down to the bottom. My favorite part of this set are definitely the awesome white polka dot hammer pants! They are without a doubt perfect for lounging around in and I match these bottoms with a number of tops I have. It honestly makes me want to go and buy more! It's pockets are so deep too but I wouldn't recommend putting anything in there since it's such a thin fabric.

That's about it to this review! I hope you all enjoyed! I'll try and make an official last post of the year later tonight. Hope you all are good and well!

Top 10 Things That Made 2014 MY Year!

$

Here we are Lovefys. The end of what has been the best year for us! Albeit I had less posts this year than the years before, I went through a lot of positive and negative changes that has better defined me as an individual. This post is going to be about the accomplishments and lessons I've learned this year with the help from my family, friends, and of course you, my beautiful followers!
I figured it'd be fun to create a list of at least 10 significant moments I will take with remember from this year. We're gunna do this in chronological order starting all the way back in January. Let's go!

1. After 3 agonizing years, I completed my braces treatment!

Look at those straight teeth! Never in my life have I ever seen myself being brave enough to wear braces 3 years ago but after my mom realized how badly my teeth were getting, she felt obligated in getting them fixed for me. Being non-insured, she paid a pretty penny to have my teeth correctly aligned and as a single mother, it was a lot for her to do which is why I appreciate her every time I realize how beautiful my smile is today. I still have a tendency to smile with my lips together but I feel like it's a habit that's gradually going away. I certainly am thankful for getting them off though and am glad I no longer have to deal with getting them tightened.

2. Establishing a New Annual Tradition - Korean Spas!

I never thought I'd anticipate visiting spas as frequently throughout the year as much as I do now! Since Kevin and I first went to Spa Castle in January, I've always wanted to experience going back again at least once a month with my friends and/or family. Even if we do not spend a night at the hotel like we did the first time, being immersed in their calming saunas, lounging areas, heated pools with water jets, walking on their heated floors, and so on makes me go gooey! I finally understand the reason why people pay a pretty penny to go to them now and it honestly is the best way to clear your head. Last night, Kevin and I went together to a different one that was still about as awesome as the first one. The timing was perfect since this was right after a mess of a night I had previously with my roommate. It really helped me detox out all of the negativity more than I think anything else would have for me so it was convenient for us to go there that morning.

3. Anime Matsuri '14

As much as I resented several different aspects of that convention, it did also carry with it many amazing moments for me as well. Never will I forget how I was able to take pictures with influential role models like Akira and Reika. Although I missed their panel, I took pictures with the lovely ladies from Korea's dance group Waveya!  I'll also always remember how both my friend Audrey and I were able to touch the kneecap of Teddyloid--creator of my newest favorite song MEMEME!
I'll also never forget the beautifully put together fashion show and musical they had there. AM14 gave me the chance to be inspired like with all cons that I attend.

4. My First Kpop Concernt - B.A.P.

Thanks to TheFaceShop in Dallas, I was able to win my chance to see B.A.P. perform live at their Live On Earth Tour when they came down here with Kevin! Before this, I've never seen a kpop group perform. Not knowing what to expect, I went there not having any kind of expectations. When we go there I met up with a lot of my fans and friends in the line! The performance was amazing and I made new friends who were sitting near us as well. After that day, I knew kpop concerts were definitely going to be on my list of things to seek out in the future...well. So long as I give enough of a crap about the artists! Because let's be real, they aren't cheap!

5. Celebrating Our 3 Year Anniversary

Already? Well damn! Hahahaha! Admittedly, I have made a post or two about how Kevin and I have had fights to where we nearly broke up last year. I've always been quite honest with you all since I know you are interesting in seeing our relationship continue to progress for the future but unfortunately for us, this has been the year where we have fought the most out of all of the 3 we have been together.. They mainly consist of silly disagreements and misunderstandings between one another and it was like a rollercoaster. Even during the times when I'd hoped we'd bond from a particular experience, we'd still find something to fight about. I'd rather not go into specifics, neither do I ask for advice on how to deal with our relationship problems.

But you know something I've taken from each one of them? Every time we kiss and make up, we are stronger. Our arguments are based on factors that are no different from the ones that my sister and my bff would have with me in the past. Guess what though? The stability I have with them today is a result of those fights and apologies being made to the other person time and time again. Without having disagreements with your friend, I feel like I don't really know who you are. Kevin and I are simply dealing with that part of our relationship where we are learning and accepting each others differences. I feel like people who have been in serious relationships understand this and those who haven't eventually will when their time comes.

Since our last argument, he and I agreed to do everything in our power to fight through this tough time. We'll be living together shortly to help reduce feelings over not seeing each other as much too which I look forward to more than anything now more than ever. I'll be looking forward to our 4th year anniversary next year too!

6. KCON 2014 + LA + Meeting MilesJai

My decision to go to KCON and stay in LA was so spontaneous but it was the best decision I believe I made all year. If I didn't get to go, I'd have missed my chance in meeting so many creative and amazing people like soundlyawake! I wouldn't have realized how many Lovefys live in LA and I also wouldn't have gotten the chance to meet  my friend Miles (MilesJaiProductions). Miles has taught me so much about loving myself with and without the wigs and make up I wear for my videos. He's also taught me to truly love yourself in the presence of others who attempt to make you weak like the experience at the comedy club he talked about in his video here. He's really been more of a friend to me than some people I tried befriending this year have and I really appreciate him so much for being there for me.

LA was also a beautiful city full of places to explore and document. If I had more time, I'd have done more videos while I was there. Sadly, my waifu Tima (aka timaloveslemons) will be moving there this summer to be reunited with her bf Kevin but I will be sure to visit her as often as I can!

7. Moving Into My First Apartment

Watch my room tour here!~
Originally, I wasn't going to bother listing this one as a great event that's happened to me this year but I think I will despite all the shit that's happened since I made this decision.

Like with anyone, moving in was stressful. But even with that being the case, I have never seen myself be more of an adult since my adulthood began. I am unsure of where it all came from, but seeing how capable I was of taking care of multiple tasks and important actions with such efficiency gave me a great boost of confidence! To realize how natural it was for me to be organized and responsible was an eyeopener for me. I'm no longer the same teenager that I was a few years ago with an immature mentality. Although I'm still letting go from being dependent on my family, I've come a long way in learning how to do things on my own.

It's funny because as much as my mom would lecture me about cleanliness and I would ignore her, I believe she has honestly been so good to me for teaching me at such an early age about how to take after your mess. The daily home care things I think is just common sense isn't for some people and it's all thanks to my mother and late father.

I also have the patience of a God when it comes to putting up with certain things from people but am proud to say that I know how to stand my ground when I am feeling that my kindness is being taken advantage of. I am small, but my mom didn't raise a punk! You all should also stand up for what you believe is wrong and never back down from someone if you know you aren't in the wrong. Not even for a second! Hold your ground and remain consistent with your position. I had to deal with so much you guys...so much with my roommate. But time is coming to where I am almost out of here. I'm so close and that's honestly the only thing that's keeping me from going insane!

Moving into my apartment has also taught me how to be a better pet parent to Hachi. He's had several accidents because of how no one bothered house training him before so now, he knows when to whine at me if ever he needs to do his business. Rain or shine, he gets walked twice a day everyday and I can see he's a happier dog now because of it.

8. Being a Special Guest--TWICE!

After meeting a lot of subbies at KCON, and then being approached to be a special guest at a Kpop related event, it all started to finally hit me that I am being watched by tens of thousands of people internationally! Not many people can say that but I feel so thankful to be one of the few that can. That moment gave me so much confidence and meeting so many new friends was again another inspirational moment for me to cherish. I invested in a cute banner for future events I will participate in which I hope for 2015 will be much more than this year!

9. Knowing Who My Real Friends Are

This one is a compilation of a series of events. As I continue to grow and connect with more people, I learned towards the last half of this year that there aren't as many friends in my life as I used to believe. The people who I used to think weren't good for me ended up being there for me in the end. The people who I used to think were good for me ended up being against me in the end. Life is so strange but I'm taking my experiences to share with others so they avoid making the same mistakes I did by trusting people too eagerly. Friendships are to be valued based on factors that appreciate over time. You can't have a friend who you've barely known and expect them to be compatible with you for months, weeks or even days to come. Sooner than later their true colors will show. You also can't expect others to be their own person if their mutual friend argues with you and avoid choosing sides. Sometimes, people like that elementary school mentality as 20 something year olds and that's just one of those things you'll have to accept and move on from.

Lastly, you can't forget to thank people for being there for you when you need support the most. Without my best friends, I would have regretted doing a lot of things a few nights ago after being provoked at my apartment to do them. Love your best friends hard, like they are your own blood. Because to me, they always will be my family. Speaking of family, my sister is a straight up bad ass and I will never forget the solidarity she has continuously shown to me throughout my life, especially this particular year. I love all of my real friends and they know who they are. Thank you so much.

10. The year of bonding with so many Lovefys

Each year I try doing new things, visit new places, and experience more moments that include you! 2014 has brought so many chances for me to mingle with my followers and learn more about who you actually are individually. I met daughters, mothers, college graduates, high schoolers, and big time YouTubers who all watch my online content! With that said, this year, I appreciated it for giving me the opportunities to meet so many of you! Next year, I plan on meeting even more, doing even more and seeing even more...but with you. My Lovefys.

Thank you 2014. You have been good to me.

See you next year.

Lovefy Look #1 | Drop Dead

Welcome back readers of mine! After an entire month into the new year I've managed to put together a post. Can't be away for too long, it troubles me! So how about starting off this year on my blog with a new series!

Lovefy Look

Quite similar to LOOKBOOK's except I wanted these to be more personal for you all. My followers and online friends will be my source of inspiration for these looks! At least I'll definitely attempt to make it consistent on that regard. Sometimes I may stray into creating my own entire made up look but I like channeling different styles from my viewers and online friends!

For as long as I've been an avid blog reader, I have grown to be most inspired by posts of fashion or make up bloggers who name their looks so I figured I'd take a stab at it well! Oh and *cough* I also did get a new lens for my camera *cough* but it's not like I want to have a vain excuse for testing it out or anything of that nature. Pfft...

This look came out looking partially inspired by Shun! It sort of just happened but I'm glad it did because he has some sick fashion sense as a dansou...hell as anything!
Drop Dead was easily put together that same day during the week my friend and I went shopping at H&M for one of her upcoming video project. I was lucky enough to have found this grey pullover with snarky commentary on pastel hearts all over it. Usually I avoid anything with even remotely rude sayings on my clothing but this is an exception.
Thankfully, the sleeves don't fall to long or too short on me and it's pleasantly lightweight.
The next two items I purchased from two different taobao stores, although I must say that the first one is most impressive in it's selection of clothes. Check it out for yourself! They're straight out of Final Fantasy, I kid you not!

With all of it's intriguing features, I absolutely had to get these cargo slim fitted pants to step up my look for the new year. Down each side of the pants are three pleather strips of fabric vertically aligned with each other. Often times I find myself thinking they are pockets and shove my hands down them but they nicely fit the shape of your hand and create fun ways to pose funnily enough!

X
Each deep pocket on the sides are made of the same pleather material as well as the back pockets. These look best with platforms or some kind of heeled shoe!

Although no longer in stock as of today's date, these platforms I'm sure could possibly be found elsewhere however take caution with who you buy from. Many online shops sell poor quality platforms that are literally hot glued together but these certainly aren't!
X
At first, I was afraid about getting more platforms after experiencing mostly discomfort from the pairs I already own but after wearing these babies out a few times already, they are magically comfortable. No Dr. Scholl's needed!
I should owe it to this comfy padding throughout the interior of the shoes.

Platforms have been a trend for what feels like a few years now especially in Asian fashion. Having that said, I think I'll have to keep buying more from this seller to continue feeling like a skyscraper around my friends and Kevin...poor Kevin!
That's my first outfit breakdown for my first Lovefy Look! Should I take this to my YouTube channel or keep it exclusive for my blog? Comment with your thoughts below!

I will be doing reviews for some circle lenses very soon as well sponsored by Lenscircle.com. One of the pairs I'll be reviewing will be including these beautiful purple ones I'm wearing in this picture below!
Purple hair, purple lips...why not purple eyes?

I've missed hearing from you all. How was your first month of the year so far? Hopefully not as crazy as mine was. Next month will be worse but I'll eventually reveal why in the next week or so. Enjoy your day Lovefys!

Updates + San Japan 15 Haul

Whoa! Look who is finally updating her abandoned blog after several months of dealing with craziness. It feels good to be back! I'm hoping from now on I can keep you all updated on the latest events on here that I am unable to do elsewhere.

What's happened with Ify?

A number of things! If you follow me on my other sites, you have kept up with just about everything but there's still a few things I haven't discussed yet on those sites that I want to use this blog to express instead of YouTube, Insta, Facebook, etc. As for many bloggers, I share thoughts with you all in a way that is therapeutic for me so expect some personal stuff to come out on here soon.

Right now, I'm through with all of my summer classes and am preparing for my final semester as a senior at my university. It's going to get insanely crazy for me as I plan to do a lot with my last semester there as well as still maintain this blog and YouTube and work at my part time job. If things get too crazy, I'm going to definitely drop something.

For starters though, I'd like to share these photos of some cute stuff I got from my time at San Japan this summer! I really enjoyed my time there and while I wasn't exactly taking pictures of everything for my blog during the con, I did take pictures of the stuff I got there. If you didn't know yet, I was selected to be a model for their fashion show which you can watch at the end of this post!

Prior to this con, my mission at other conventions was to buy all kinds of beautiful art from the artist alleys. Eventually I figured I could use some more accessories to work with for my outfits so I went back to buying those. My friend Reggie happened to be at this convention to my surprise so I went ahead and bought some stuff from his shop and was delightfully satisfied with it!
Faded cropped top & graphic print pastel leggings: Incontrolclothing
Wig: Lace Front Merilyn Blue Blonde Gothic Lolita Wigs
Ice cream dress: Incontrolclothing
If you're interested in getting stuff from his store, click that link and it should take you to their website. Something notable about some of their clothing is that some of the pieces generally have a faded appearance to them. For me, I like it so long as the design itself is still captivating like what the shirt and leggings have on them. It only works in those cases but there was also an abundance of vibrantly colored clothes as well!

Reggie was a sweetheart and I hope to hang with him the next time I spot him at the next convention. Thanks a lot Reggie! Love my new clothes!

I've been wanting more necklaces and other jewelry in colors I normally don't get them in so I went and got these two at a cute vendors booth on the final day of the con.
addicTokki
They gave me a card to keep for whenever I shop with them again and I can earn a discount for 25% off if I get 3 more stamps for every $20 I spend with them. Not a bad deal!
Lolita Collective
After adoring pastel kei for as long as I have, I'm finally going to try taking a stab at it by coordinating my own outfits. These accessories from the Lolita Collective felt so essential to do so! That store has a lot of good stuff for an affordable price...well at least in terms of their accessories.
Enchanted Dreamwear
This booth had so many intricately detailed items that were so unique! I just couldn't afford all of them so I'll have to look into getting some of their necklaces I left another time.
Shojomonsta
Shojo Monsta had a booth this year at SJ as well and I saw she had lots of these beautiful hair pieces in different sizes. I was only able to afford the smaller one, but it's so cute and white is bound to go with lots of my outfits!
Angelic Pretty USA + Harajuku Hearts
I couldn't possibly tell you how badly I've been wanting one of these hair dangling star chains. Please say there's an easier name for them someone who knows better than I? They're so perfect for the new wigs I have now. Adds a subtle touch of soft pastel color. Definitely going to be using this a lot!

I bought a lot of things from Miss Octopie this year and I went and got myself a cute commission drawn of my outfit I wore on the Friday night I was there. She's so talented! I love her art style to bits. I just wish I was a little more darker complected than that. Otherwise, it's adorbs!

I like this hair color!
As I mentioned earlier, I was apart of the Shiki and Enchantilic Enchantilly fashion show which was my first anime convention fashion show I've ever been apart of! It was an enjoyable experience to say the least. The other models were a joy to be around despite the nervousness I initially had meeting all of them. I genuinely hope to keep in contact with a lot of them if we were to ever go to the same conventions in the future.

Too cutes!
The designers themselves were also super sweet! Although I wore Enchantilic Enchantilly's outfit for the show, I spoke a lot with Yuka before and after the show and Fumiko Kawamura was incredibly kind to me! I felt like she was in love with how her dress looked on me as she adorned me with her gorgeous jewelry like necklaces, rings, and so on. I wish I was rich enough to have been able to afford taking that mint colored dress home with me but I had to say no and stick with getting small things. For this trip, I took the megabus so I wasn't able to store it away in my car or anything even if I did get it.
Left to right: Anilec, Susan, Me!
After I changed with Yuka!
Fumiko and I after the show!

Anelic was too cute!
For a thank you gift, Fumiko gave all of he models these beautiful tote bags with a thank you letter inside of them!

That's all I have for this post! Look forward to some posts about me being a spokesmodel for Gothic Lolita Wigs. It will be lengthy, just so you know. Here is some footage of the fashion show for those who weren't able to attend it.

Kawaii Gyaru Shop | Glamorous Cross Lower Lashes

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope your week is going well! This is my last week of summer before my final semester of college starts next week. I'm actually ready to take it on!

Earlier this summer, I teamed up with the Kawaii Gyaru Shop family and was given the great opportunity to review their services and items from their shop! You all know my roots have been gyaru and while my style has changed a lot, I still will always do my eye make up with a gyaru technique!

They sent me tons of stuff which you can see in my videos below this post. Rarely do I ever review lashes, so I figured I'd start with the pairs they sent me in my Welcome Package. Let me begin by saying these specific pair of lower lashes are currently out of stock, however Steph still has other cute lashes for you to browse through on the site and they will be restocked when they are available on the site I'm sure!

The ones I received came in a cute hot pink package and they were the Glamorous Cross Lower Lashes. They came in two pairs and Stephanie, the owner of KGS, suggested for me to cut them in three sections for a more natural look. I gave it a shot in the pictures below! Tell me what you think!
Nice right? You can have a closer look at them here.

Super in love with these even more than before after cutting them this way! If you have similar lashes, it's a great way to play it up a differently.

Again, if you'd like to see more cute lashes she has, click on this link to be redirect to her page with them. You can get a discount by using this code on your purchase

"LOVELYIFY"

Other than that, this look was originally made for a video I filmed that should be uploaded later this week. Hopefully on Thursday if I can get done with everything on time today. This gorgeous red wig is from Gothic Lolita Wig and it's their lace front yaki straight 32" red wig which you can find here! Thanks for reading this quick post! Have a lovely day! I'll be busy rebranding some graphics for my channel before work today and working on my resume. Wish me luck!

Start at 4:36 to view lashes still in package!
